OPTIMA tracheostomy Tubes
All types of OPTIMA tracheostomy tubes are characterized by a transparent outer cannula with a firmly attached universal 15 mm ISO connector and flexible thermosensitive material properties which ensure good wear properties.
The tubes are lightweight and the inserting and removing of the inner cannula is simple. The inner cannula can be fitted into the 15 mm connector of the outer cannula and is easy to grip via lateral grooves.
The soft flange has lateral eyelets for fixing the inserted tube with a neck strap.
The OPTIMA series comprises a complete range of tracheostomy tubes for tracheostomized patients. They are available in five adult sizes 6-10, as uncuffed or cuffed types, with and without phonation or subglottic suction function.
With or without inner cannula in place, the built-in 15 mm ISO connector of the outer cannula allows the attachment of accessories (heat and moisture exchangers (HMEs) and speaking valves) and can also be used for attaching ventilators (in case of cuffed tubes).

This inner cannula is unfenestrated and transparent for improved secretion assessment.
The red inner cannula is fenestrated and enables phonation in conjunction with a speaking valve.
The white inner cannula is unfenestrated and made of radiopaque material for position control.
