PRODUCT FEATURES
Particularly safe (2 safety valves – on puncture needle and catheter)
Colour indicator on puncture needle shows penetration of abdominal cavity
The three-way valve can be switched to allow aspiration of fluid via gravity drainage
Veress needle reduces the risk of iatrogenic injuries (tip is blunt unless pressure is exerted)
The system allows aspiration both directly via the puncture needle and via the catheter
In case of recurrent effusions, the catheter can be left in situ, thus rendering a repeat puncture procedure unnecessary
