PRIMEDISILK® Tracheostomy placeholder
PRIMEDISILK® tracheostomy placeholders provide a secondary airway by gently holding the tracheostoma open.
They provide access during a bronchial toilet and are used for decannulation.
Made of soft, medical-grade silicone they ensure a very high wearing comfort and good tissue compatibility.
We offer different types of PRIMEDISILK® tracheostomy placeholders which should be selected according to the individual anatomical features of each patient.
TRACHEO-SAFE
Length = 45 mm
Lenght = 70 cm
Product features:
- The extended semitubular form of the tracheal shank adapts ideally to the shape of the trachea
- Variably adjustable skin-colored flange ensures secure positioning
- Optional closure plug enables respiration via the upper respiratora tract (can be opened with ease at any time for suctioning of secretions)
- Prevents shrinkage of tissue
- Enables the patient to cough up the stimulus secretion very fast
- Provides an artificial airway and access for pulmonary hygiene
- Good tissue compatibility
- High wearing comfort due to flexible and soft material

T-TUBUS
Product features:
- Tracheostomy placeholder for the stabilization of the trachea
- Maintains an adequate airway from larynx to mouth and nose
- Height-adjustable distancing ring ensures optimum fit and protects against dislocation
- Can be closed off, if necessary, with its sealing plug (removing the plug allows suction of tracheal secretions)
- Atraumaticly shaped ends ensure easy insertion
- Good tissue compatibility

- Flat unobstrusive design with ring-shaped shield
- Integrated bulge at the proximal end ensures that it is held securely in the trachea
- Prevents shrinkage of tissue
- Short, atraumatic form can be introduced with ease and reduces the associated risk of injury
- Good tissue compatibility
- High wearing comfort due to flexible and soft material
- Can be closed with a finger to enable phonation
- Material: silicone, latex-free

- Short, atraumatic form can be introduced with ease and reduces the associated risk of injury
- Good tissue compatibility
- High wearing comfort due to flexible and soft material
- In order to enable phonation it can either be closed with a finger or a speaking valve can be attached
- Available in two lengths
- Material: silicone, latex-free
